A friend of mine, a French national told me the last syllable is like ‘nahd’.
But, I find the majority of the sites giving the pronunciation you did.

I believe that both pronounciations are correct.

The users of British English pronounce this word as /,prɒmə’nɑ:d/ while the users of American English pronounce this word as /,prɒmə’neɩd/. There is no right or wrong in language. Only difference and variations. (and at times unclarity and misscommunication, LOL)

Poor me. my Java is going wrong. So I can not record my pronuciation of promenade but I think I agree with Youscream_Icecream. That's the difference between BrE and AmE.
