Abbreviation ENG Fri Nov 25, 2005 11:04 am  Abbreviation ENG

Hello!!

I have some questions that I come not to understand. I have found the abbreviation ENG in a the media context. one student of mine worked as news reporter and among their colleagues they called themselves ENGs.I tried to look it up in different dictionaries what these initials stand for, but all i found was the abbreviation for "engineer" or "england". Obviously, none of these match with what I am looking for.

She worked for a Television broadcast and she was a sort of camerawoman. Can you help me??

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.
