Hi Haihao, you probably mean 'English Grammar'? (Not 'Grammer')

Hi Torsten,

Oh I am sorry for the terrible typo. Yes I meant grammar not grammer, the latter of which would have a totally different meaning! :-) Thank you for the correction.

If you want grammar books that also contain exercises, try the "Grammar in Use" series from Cambridge. Get the editions with the answers at the back. Those books have practically everything. In fact, they even contain the correct English grammar that foreign ESL teachers think is wrong.

No Jamie K, I don't think the English grammar in 'Grammar in Use' is wrong. My students are all using it!

Jamie didn't say the book contains wrong grammar. He said it contains grammar that ESL teachers think is wrong.

But Detlef IS foreign ESL teacher and he does NOT think that the "Grammar in Use" is wrong. So, he weakens Jamie (K)'s claim.
