Hi Shiko,
The same thing happened with me also. When I read "egotistic" I thought this is mistaped. But I looked up in the dictionary. egotist: person who practices or shows egotism; selfish person egotistic:/adj/ of egotism;of or like an egotist adv: egotistically
but exist this word of what we thought, and the meaning same:
egoism:state of mind in which one is always thinking about oneself and what is best for oneself egoist: person who believes in or shows egoism.
I am Hungarian and we say egoist and never heard egotist me either |

Dear Mr. Torsten and the whole family over here,
Greetings
First of all, please allow me to introduce myself to you and to the entire family of English-test.net, I am Meltaif from Sudan.
Sudan is an Afro-Arab country located in the middle-upper part of Africa, my country have got a share borders with Egypt, Libya, Kenya, Ethiopia and other 5 countries in Africa.
I am Supply Chain specialist and I'm working for Non for Profit organization working in Sudan. I have been working for the organization since 2003, we provide support to Blindness patients in our community, we provide treatment to the community in term of tablets, ointment and oral suspension.
I really enjoy my career and the humanitarian touches of what I'm doing. It is really enjoyable to help people specially those who are missing an integral part of their sense like vision.
Recently, I finished my post-graduate study at my home country in Business Administration; I used to be specialized in Marketing Management which I found quite interesting in term of how to deal with customer, competition, market factors and also it’s related to my career as Supply Chain Management specialist.
My plan for the future is to acquire Tofel degrees that enable me to join an American University for post studies in field of Marketing.
According to the Toefl system in my home-country, I suppose to have PBT "paper based test" which is a little bit different from IBT as far as I know, hence, I decide to further my studies and Toefl is a must for admission in American Universities I will be in need to your help and other friend over this nice place.
Thank you for the interesting and informative e-mail and looking forward to hear from you soon |
