Hi,
Liaison: word connections, grammatical circumstance in which a usually silent consonant at the end of a word is pronounced at the beginning of the word that follows it.

American Accent Training, by Ann Cook
....
Native speaker may often tell people who are learning English to 'slow down' and to 'speak clearly.' This is meant with the best of intentions, but it is exactly the opposite of what a student really needs to do. If you speak fairly quickly and with strong intonation, you will be understood more easily.

So, please try to read the following sentences, but in two different ways:

1. Word by word. Don't forget: word by word
2. Practice it for several times, and read it continuously. Try to do not interrupt between the words. Simply, Suppose each sentences as a group-word.

The sample sentences:
Hello, my name is Mona. I am taking the TOEFL examination right now.

Please record your voice that we could here you.

Hi,
Mona, you recorded your voice three times, right?
So, in my opinion, as a learner like you, the first sentence of the third record was excellent, but the other parts sounded a little bit distraction, as you read most part of them word-by-word.

So, please try to read the following sentences:
1. Hello, My name is Mona. Read as: Hello, MaynemeizMona. -The whole sentence as a one single grouped word.
2. I am taking the TOEFL Examination right now. Read as: IyamTakintheTOEFLExaminationRightNow.
3. Sara is on the phone. Read as: Saraisonethephone

Please also add some intonation to the sentences. Don't worry about exaggeration.
You know, I had the same problem with continuous reading like you. However, by reading many text loudly and trying connect them softly, I started to read them fluently.
Also, to understand the intonation, please listen to Alan's and Torsten's voices carefully - Specially Alan's. You can find many of them on the following links. Please try to lesson the forum's discussions about the newsletter.

Of course, on this thread, there are many of Alan's and Torsten's voice messages. Just look at the Authors of the Topics. Other authors also have recorded their voice messages, So you can listen to them, and find out how the other accents of the other non-native speakers are.

-Salivan

P.S.
Don't forget to listen Kitos's poems and notes.

P.P.S
Mona, You are pronouncing the sound of Ch, P, zh in pleaSUre correctly! According to my knowledge, You don't have these voices in your language, do you? So, would you mind to tell us who did you do that? Many thanks.

Hi Pasban110,
Thanks for bringing up the discussion concerning Liaison. Do you happen to have a list of silent consonants?

Hi,
Yak, Try Google for your answer, or take a look at the P.S. of this post. (P.S. Stands for Post Script)

Mona, I think you don't have those voices, so wasn't that hard for you to produce them? Oh, About your voice message; Try more, read texts aloud, and record them. Then listen to them until you feel that they are OK.
Also, I'm afraid that you are reading word by word again. To be honest, there is no intonation and liaison in your voice. But don't worry, It will be solved. Listen to Alan's voices and try to imitate him. Listen carefully how he applies his feelings into his voice. Don't be in rush, just try to do it as far as you can. After then please record them here to see how you improved. LOL.

Kitos, many thank for your explanation. It's pleasure to have you here.

-Salivan

P.S.
Yak, try these links:
http://eleaston.com/pr/sl-pattern.html
-- A very good resource for American English Pronunciation. I don't know, but be aware that the links start from Home page do not work properly.

And other resources:

http://www.teachervision.fen.com/tv/printables/orange/RP-64.pdf Do not forget to try this. LOL.
