From the same web-page:
The punishing anthem, which debuted six weeks ago as the most added new Active Rock single of the year, has already blazed to the Top 5 tier of the chart. |

| "Cryin' Like A Bitch" is the 15th Top Five hit for the group, more than franchise artists such as LINKIN PARK, FOO FIGHTERS, and others. |

| The new album revels in GODSMACK's scorching underpinnings, served up via Erna's monster vocals on "Cryin' Like A Bitch" and other songs, including "Saints And Sinners", "War And Peace" and "Love, Hate, Sex, Pain". |

Wow! That sounds like a difficult piece of reading! I'll do my best, but you are obviously a rock fan so will understand that sometimes the usual rules of English don't apply <smile>
digital domain: a wide term for any means of listening to the music by digital sources. (downloading music, listening online and many more) record breaking streak: they have broken a number of records, one after the other ('records' here refers to being the best at/selling the most, etc) coveted: held in wide regard Active Rock format: Active Rock is the name for a style of music played by a type of radio station... more 'hard rock' than 'classic rock'.
So basically they are saying that this single is doing really well and helping get the band very well known and respected in their style.
as the most added: the single that has been added to more radio stations' playlists than any other. blazed: literally, on fire. In this context, has raced to the top of the charts.
franchise artists: singers or groups (in this case) managed by a record company (in this case) rather than being independent of a record label company.
revels in Godsmack's scorching underpinnings: To revel is to take delight in something. Here, it seems that this album has its foundation in the music of a group called Gobsmack, and builds on the sort of music they introduced (scorching underpinnings ... that word 'scorch' again, literally on fire, but here meaning it's a really good heavy, loud sound. 'underpinnings' - what something is based on)
I hope this helps you make sense of it all. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

| What is the difference between editorial jobs? | synonym for "paranoid" - as in 'people colluding against me'? |
