Hello Torsten Daerr,
My name is André Tavares Ferraz, I'm from Brazil!!! =). I'm, sorry to join the course just now, soo laate, but I have been involved in lots of work since I'm about to be graduated in Law at my Colege. I love English Language as much I love my own one. In the beginning of the year I was there in USA working during my summer vacations - it was a gr8 experience, mainly to know american culture and people - they are very nice and polite, not soo warmly as we brazilians, but ok! hihihi =]. I'd like to improve my english skills first to understand all the english information we are in touch in the day-by-day like songs, advertisements, movies etc; second to my job because tough we lead mainly with portuguese reading and speaking there are lots of law articles in english. So, I hope my english get better during the course. I also hope to meet people from other parts of the globe, as I already have seen here, from Viet Nan, India, Camboja Iraqi etc. I hope to get to know better everybody!!! Bye, my thanks! |

Exuse me, my name is Dmitry Korotaev, I'm from the Russian city of Korolev (Suburb of Moscow)
May somebody explain me the meaning of such sentences: "He is to do something" or "The houses are to be built somewhere"? I suppose that "to be to" = "have to". Am I right? Thanks beforehand.
I also would like to say "Thank you" to Torsten Daerr for the e-mails being sent to me. |
