So this is something we Germans can be proud of -- our cars ;-) This video is real and an Audi Quattro first went up a skijump in the 80ies...

Hi Torsten,

I talked with a member of the forum a few weeks ago via Skype. This particular young man is a native German, residing in Uchtdorf. I was surprised when he told me that many people in Germany prefers Japanese cars to German made ones. What do you think?

Personally, I would like to get my hands on one of the R9 models. She is quite the beauty. But seeing how expensive her purchase and upkeep price is, I guess that she is just out of my reach. :-(

The original version was done with an Audio 100 Quattro manual transmission:

Hi YSIC, as far I as I know the vast majority of the Germans still think that German cars are superior to any other other cars although many German cars are no longer manufactured in Germany. If a German purchases a Japanese of French card, they usually don't do it because they are convinced that foreign cars are better but because they often are cheaper. I once had a French car and after that experience I will never buy one again.
