Hi there!
I wonder what it means, no clue at all. I was listening to this show where they were talking about losing weight and then one of the guys said, "Don't eat chinese food". Next, everybody in the show says, "Yes, that does do it". So, what exactly do they mean? and can I use this expression in other context?

Thanks!

It sounds as if they either meant that not eating Chinese food helps them to lose weight or that eating Chinese food makes them gain weight.

That (the Chinese food) does do it (make you gain/lose weight)

As for using it in other contexts, you could, but it's not a display of very good English, and it would certainly lose you marks in a test.
"That does it," would show your skills far better.

Hi all,

Could it be possibly an emphasized form? However, it sounds strange.

Yes Joseph, it is intended to emphasise (with the emphasis on the word does when it is spoken).

I've heard this and similar phrases such as
I did do it.
I do have them
and the one that makes me smile the most,
I do do it.

But personally I still don't think it would get you very far in a test.
