Can I say: Correct the English homework book?

I want to tell my friend to correct the mistakes in the English homwork book.
Can I say : "Correct the English homework book." ?
It's weird to say coorrect the homework book, isn't it?

or correct your mistakes in English book .

I just believe that , I am English student and that what I learned , mabye somebody can tell you what the true is .
