Topic
In some countries, teenagers have jobs while they are still students. Do you think this is a good idea? Support your opinion by using reasons and details.

Essay:

There are many different opinions about students should or should not have jobs. From my point of view, teenagers can work part-time if the time they spend on their jobs does not affect negatively to their study. I will explain why I support this point.

To begin with, it is undeniable that money plays an important role throughout the life of each person, especially for teenagers. Having more money from working part time, they can pay for themselves basic demands such as: buying books, taking long trips with their friends without financially depending on their families. Moreover, they can partially relieve their families from the financial burden, and even help their parents a little bit in cases of needs.

Students can learn how to live independently by means of working. In Vietnam, the numbers of students who are working part time makes up less than five percent. The remaining students depend fully on their parents; it is a pity that many students do not realize the value of money that their parents have to work very hard to support them, and as the result, they waste money on unnecessary things. However, for students who are working, they appreciate every penny they earn, thus they always spend their money in an effective way. Gradually, they become independent through independently financial management. Besides, in order to balance their jobs and their study, students have to learn how to manage their time effectively. They soon become growing up after facing challenges in their job and in their study.

In addition, having jobs helps teenagers to be more confident in their life. Students learn valuable lessons at work which they hardly have the chance to study in colleges. Through working, teenagers have the opportunity to communicate with many people; that helps them strengthen communication skills, extend social relationships, accumulate knowledge as well as experience. Furthermore, teenagers can apply what they have been studied in colleges into the reality. Step by step, they build up the solid knowledge foundation helping them become confident in terms of both working and studying.

In conclusion, permitting teenagers to work when they are in colleges is a right policy. Teenagers can receive many benefits those mentioned above. Through working, teenagers soon grow up and become helpful for society.
