Learning Russian? Mon Jul 05, 2004 18:01 pm  Learning Russian?

Greetings Pupil,

Yes, I shall slowly but surely learn Russian.
I have the unique opportunity because of my
contact to `mother-tongue Russian speakers?.
I won?t go crazy trying to learn it and certainly
not try to stuff it into my brains, or put myself
under pressure. That?s not the way to learn.

I shall begin with learning everyday words -
step by step. When I have reached a certain
level of understanding, I will quite naturally
want some questions answered by looking
at the appropriate Russian Language books.
Childrens books are the best to begin any
language.

Where do you come from Pupil?
Which languages have you learnt or wish to
learn? What?s your mother-tongue?
Best Wishes, Bruce.

Hello, Bruce!
I`m glad that some people are still eager to learn the Russian language Smile) You know, it`s really a beautiful one. You`ll never regret. And by the way, you`ve made a good choice in the way of learning it..Anyway, colloquial Russian is very easy to learn for it`s simple and there some words from English used in it.. so I wish good luck! And by the way, what other languages d`you know??? I wonder if you know Latin a bit...

Russia Alphabet or Letters Sat Jul 10, 2004 3:30 am  Russia Alphabet or Letters

Hallo Jailbird & pupil,

If you guys can speak Russian, please can you write
me the Alphabet here.
Please write the Russian letter and then beside it the
English version (or as near as possible), and of course
if there is no comparison leave it blank.
Can you do that for me???
And then write my name Bruce in Russia letters.

Thanks alot. Bruce.

Example :

# = Aa
§ = Bb
% = Cc
µ = Dd

..... etc etc.
