I suggest,
"When can we expect to receive the required item."

The word 'here' in that sentence sounds 'odd' though is not strictly incorrect.

By the way, your subject should read "Kindly advise me."

advice - noun
advise - verb.

Hi,

I would suggest:

Quote:
1) When can we expect the required item here?

I replied to the OP earlier this morning, suggesting that "When can we expect to receive the required item?" might flow better.

Did my post get deleted or did it just never arrive?
___________
EDIT: Mystery solved! The OP asked exactly the same question in a different thread!! I've just found it.

LOL Torsten, you merged them as I was trying to send a reply in the other thread! I became very confused when I got the error message, "Sorry only can post here." closely followed by no such topic exists! :D

Hi Thiyages.

Your first sentence ("When can we expect the required item here?") is grammatically correct and demonstrates correct use of the word 'here'. My alternative is simply a suggestion that you might use to make the sentence flow smoother.

"I advised you." advise=verb
"I gave you advice." advice= noun
You selected the wrong one again in your reply.
"Thanks for your kind __" requires a noun, so you need to use the word 'advice'.
