Hello dear all,
I would like to know what does a balky teenager means? I've worked thru the net but could not find it.

Any chance it was "bulky" (high volume in proportion to weight)?

A balky teen would be one who stops/refuses to proceed, often stubbornly or repeatedly, to do/continue/finish something.

Theoretically a balky teen could also be one who creates hindrances for others, or even in regards to american baseball a balk is an illegal act that could be defining his style of play. I wouldnt expect to see/hear these last 2 in real life though.
