Essay: When people move to another country, some of them decide to follow the customs of the new country. Others prefer to keep their own customs. Compare these two choices. Which one do you prefer? Support your answer with specific details.
In my opinion when people move to another country THEY should follow the customs of the new country. However, they don’t have to leave their own customs behind because their own customs ARE part of a person identity. I think people should find a way to live in harmony with both customs.
When people move to a new country the first thing that people should do in my opinion is to learn the new country'S language. Nowadays, is easier to learn a new language than EVER before SIMPLY by watching local TV channels, listening to the local songs or even by attending classes for newcomers in local schools. At the beginning it may be hard and it will take time to learn a new language. However, with persistence and an eagerness to learn(,) by the time people will be able to speak AND even interact with those local people. By knowing the new country’s language it would be easier for people applying for a job with A better pay rate, to get higher education or even to make new friends in a new country. On the other hand, people don NOT have to stop speaking their own language. Actually, they should keep speaking their own language among their peers and family Especially with the YOUNGER generation(,) because nowadays with the world globalization being bilingual or even trilingual(,) it could be useful. At the same time the YOUNG generation SHOULD never BE ALLOWED TO forget their roots and their own country'S culture.
Some people are used to eatING their home country style foods when they move to the new country(,) BUT they might not find the same ingredients to prepare their foods. Therefore, they should try out and taste the new country food flavors(,) and maybe they can mix the local produce with their home country recipes and it can result in a delicious plate.
For all reasons mentioned above, I do believe when people MOVE abroad THEY should have an open mind to accept the new country culture, language and also the local people. However, at the same time they should preserve and be proud of their own customs. Otherwise, living in a new country could be painful. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: An excellent essay Spoon. Well worth 9/10
