Is the usage right?
'Such behaviour is beyond tolerable.'
I think a noun should come after beyond.

But normally we use 'beyond comparison', 'beyond comprehension' etc where a noun follows the word 'beyond'.
Then, why is 'tolerable' acceptable here ?

Yes, you are right about those examples. But English can be, at the same time, quite flexible and sometimes go beyond a common usage.
Or, you can understand it as beyond tolerable limits.

Hi,

I think that 'beyond tolerable' would be better expressed as 'beyond what is tolerable'. I think that the use of 'beyond' is more happily linked with a noun or a substitute for a noun.

BEYOND THE TOLERANCE -> the tolerance that mentioned before or can be identified in some way. Here, beyond tolerable, or beyond what is tolerable, suggests an abstract meaning: unable to tolerate. Anyway, BEYOND THE TOLERANCE sounds unnatural.
