The most improtant event in the last hundred years

There are many events which are important in the last hundred years such as World War 1, World War 2 and Katrina disaster and so on. Many people have different ideas about what the most important event in the last hundred years. However, from my point of view, the most important event is the September 11, 2001 attacks; I think that for the following reasons.

When this event happened, it changed many things such as people opinions about Arab people and Muslims not only that it changed the way of European people behaviours towards Muslims and Arab. It created a big gap between Muslims and other group of people. For example, people think that all Muslims are bad and our religion gives us the chance to kill people whenever we want. In contrary, our religion does not allow us to harm other people, and to kill people with out any reason, our religion order us to love each other and protect each other. Only because of a group of people who call themselves Muslims, it does not mean that all Muslims are the same, as there are bad people in Arab country, there are bad people everywhere. In addition, there are many rules which have been set for banning wearing scarves in many universities in Europe, only because they are Muslims.

Moreove,there are many things changed since the attacks against United States, as we can see these attacks encouraged many people to do a lot of bad things. For example, in many countries the explosions in the embassies started to widespread and foreigner people started to be kidnapped much more than before. In addition, most countries do not feel secure. Therefore, nowadays it is not easy to travel from place to other easily; a lot of procedures must have been taken to travel especially to Europe.

In conclusion, the attacks which happened in September 11, 2001 was the most important event ever for creating hatred from all over the world toward Muslims, and for destroying the image of all Muslims because of some groups which call themselves Muslims.
