In any society, the contributions of scientists and engineers are more important than contributions of artists and writers.
Essay:
The contributions of scientists and engineers are very important in our society, they create material our life. However, I disagree that the contributions of scientists are more important than the contributions of artists. From my point of view, both contributions of scientists and artists are valuable our society because they each contribute to difference aspects of society.
First of all, the artists and writers do not make material for society, but they create the imagination for people’s mind. Without the imagination, people will be boring, they could not create the new things and they always satisfy with what they had. The scientist and engineers made a lot of important things base on the ideals of writers and artists. For install, before we have a real submarine, the French novel’s Jules Verne described the first submarine in his novel. Later, the scientists and engineers made a complete submarine base on his ideal.
Secondly, the artists and writer work on the spiritual area, they help us to relax by their works. In the modern society, people are always busy, they can easily get street out. Reading a novel of famous writer or watching a funny film from well-known artists can help us reduce street and get balance in order to working better.
In addition, artists and writers have us can recognize who we are. There are many plays of artists and writers reflect or describe real life. We not only can see and recognize ourselves, but also know how our ancestors thought and did in the pass through the plays of writers and artists.
In conclusion, both engineers and artists benefit our society. Engineers and scientists create the material for life, and the artists provide spiritual value for our minds. Therefor, the contributions of them are equal, and both of them need to respect in society.

The contributions of scientists and engineers are very important in our society, they create THE material OF our LIVES. However, I disagree that the contributions of scientists are more important than the contributions of artists. From my point of view, both THE contributions of scientists and artists are valuable TO our society because they each contribute to difference aspects of society.

First of all, the artists and writers do not make material for society, but they /create/NURTURE/FEED/ the imagination OF people’s mindS. Without the imagination, people WOULD be boring(.) They could not create ANY new things and they WOULD always BE satisfIED with what they had.
