You would have to add another word, "while". So the sentence would look like this --> During my most recent trip, I came across a wonderful antique store while wandering in the old quarter of the city. Hope that helped!

Hi Alive,
In your sentence
Quote:
-(During) my (most recent) trip, I (came across) a wonderful antique store (wandering) in the old quarter of the city. (No error),
the problem is that the participle 'wandering' doesn't seem to connect to a sensible subject as the nearest one is 'antique store' and clearly stores don't 'wander', do they? That's why you need to repeat the proper subject 'I' and introduce a main verb 'while I was wandering.'
