Hi ritu chopra,

Here in this sentence you need a conjunction of time (when) and not the relative pronoun (which).

hey alan, hear from someone means to know something about him. I can't explain in english, but i think so.
I haven't heard from Jorge for a long time. does this mean that I didn't have news about Jorge? Am I wrong or right?

Hi Jordano,

You have to make a distinction between 'hear from' and 'hear about'. If you hear from someone, this is a letter/email/phone call from the actual person. If you hear about someone, it means you receive news concerning someone and what they are doing.
