Hello Wed Jul 07, 2004 12:26 pm  Hello

Hi Frank Smile)
I adore English because first of all it`s easy for me to learn it & I understand it very much. Still, I find a lot of new & interesing things. And the second thing is that I`ve been learning it for many years & I`ve got used to it. I don`t find it very difficult & besides I`ve an excellent opportunity to speak English to the natives sometimes. So I like it very much & I like the thing that I can speak it.

Hi FrankU,
Thanks for introducing yourself in the New Forum Member
department. We hope to encourage our shy readers to
simple jump in and start some where. Your support is
appreciated. I know how difficult the first step can be
for some readers so you are helping to inspire along with Larissa, Jailbird, pupil, terminator, Elena, Naufragis, Ariadna,
Andreana etc.
Frank please can you tell us a little bit about Heidelberg.
I?ve been two or three times, but have not had too much
time to really get acquainted with the history.
Why Heidelberg. Heidelbeeren on the Berg. Heide and Berg?
Please tell us about some prominent people, events or buildings.
Best Wishes, Bruce.

Heidelberg Sat Jul 10, 2004 12:01 pm  Heidelberg

Hallo Bruce, Heidelberg has many good things: For example we have a lady mayor Smile
There is also the Heidelberg university, of the most famous in the world.
We have the Heidelberg Technology Park and the Heidelberg Castle Festival. A good combination, isn't it?

Heidelburg lady mayor / mayoress, uni, castle etc Sat Jul 10, 2004 19:37 pm  Heidelburg lady mayor / mayoress, uni, castle etc

Hi FrankU,
Heidelberg has a mayoress. That sounds great.
Women can be more social and humane when it comes
to home affairs. Also they are good at organising.
Is Heidelberg or Gottingen the oldest University?
I knew some young people that were studying Medicine
in Heidelberg, which I inderstand to be one of the best
places in Germany along with Munster in NRW as far as
medicine is concerned.
I think Heidelberg is also famous for its Alternative Green
Lifestyle, Organic food growing, Bio food shops and health
food shops etc. along with hanf and products from the third world.
Is that true?

Frank, thanks for pasting up a picture with your name.
That?s super. Now I can relate to you better.
Best Wishes, Bruce.
