I've got

correct sentence:
Marian was very exhausted at the end of the day so she strode slowly along the beach on her way back home.

Correct answer: (d) strode

Your answer was: incorrect
your sentence:
Marian was very exhausted at the end of the day so she walked slowly along the beach on her way back home.

So what's the right answer? walked or strode?
