Living in this fast paced environment requires a lot of rethinking. There are so many things being done haphazardly, or even forgotten, because we wanted to follow the flow. If we talk about the issue of repeat drive test, I believe that it is important. Giving regular drive test will result in safety, confidence, and awareness.

First advantage of conducting a regular drive test will be on the safety of pedestrians. Young drivers are often irresponsible in driving. Conducting regularly drive test will make them concious and aware about the safety of the people walking on the streets.

Second advantage of repeat drive test if for old people. Older drivers who have been driving confidently all their lives might not be aware that their skills are deteriorating. As a person grows older, their reflexes gets slower. In case they are found a to be incompetent to drive, then the proper authorities can just revoke their license. On the other hand if they are still able to drive, the test will just give them confidence.

Finally the issuance of repeat drive test will also be beneficial for infrequent drivers. Driving is also a skill that needs to be practiced in order to get better. Giving repeat drive test will put the irregular drivers in check of the rules and regulations of driving, thus resulting in awareness.

However, given all the advantages, I feel that there are also some disadvantages of giving it frequently. Most of the disadvantages will fall on the drivers, as it is their time and money which will be used. Another is the risk of loosing one's license is also at stake.

Therefore in my opinion, the advantages thus outweighs the disadvantages. By doing repeat tests on driving, it can assure public safety, produce confident drivers especially the old ones, and lastly as a check and balance for infrequent drivers.
