expression: 'through yourself into work'

Please help me. Does this sentence below mean she killed herself?
"She threw herself into the river."

Hi Mlngvt,

There are other expressions with throw + reflexive pronoun that have to do with people at least attempting suicide:

throw yourself off a bridge

throw yourself in front of an oncoming train

but on the more cheerful side there is throw yourself into work meaning work very hard and with enthusiasm.
