Hi,

Recently came across the series of the adventures of Adrian Monk, the world's most brilliant detective. The plots are amazing and extremely diverse and inventive. Have to admit I'm thoroughly hooked on the series. Anyone else feel the same?

Alan

I love the show, but I have a lot of trouble watching it, because the character's mental illness -- the thing that makes him great detective -- makes me very nervous.

Hi Jamie,

The most worrying thing is when you see yourself doing the very things he's doing. I agree it's disturbing to watch but what original plots they are!

I've watched it on a couple of occasions - the show kicks ass.
Adrian is a piece of work all right. But he's a nice sleuth - gets the job done that's what counts. And his erratic, obsessive compulsive behavior is just a means to an end.
