Hello Alan, Mister Micawber, Beeesneees, Mordant and other native English speakers,

---------------

This book is the result of 25 years of research.
---------------

Can I say "25-year-long research" instead of "25 years of research"?

Hi Tofu,

'25 years of research' is fine. If you want to use your version, I would say: After a 25-year-long period of research.

Alan
