Many people believe that it is very important to make large amounts of money, while others are satisfied to earn a comfortable living. Analyze each viewpoint and take a stand. Give specific reasons for your position.

Money plays an important role in our lives. For some people the main goal is to become very rich, for others money are not so important. Both these positions have their advantages and disadvantages, but I do not prefer to have more than enough money in order to think more about some other things.

On the one hand, having a high salary and a strong bank account could be a good goal, because in this situation a person can buy everything that he or she wants, and it is a great pleasure. For example, since my childhood I have wanted to buy a small yacht and to live near the sea in Valencia. But it takes too much money to do it because in this case I also have to buy a house and rent a place where I could store and repair my ship. Maybe I would be happier, if I had got a lot of money.

On the other hand, to earn a lot of money one should often either work a lot, or do a dishonest job. In the first case, when a person works hard, he or she does not have time to enjoy money. Such a person spends less time with the family and is not able to allow himself many hobbies. In the second case, when a person earns money unfairly, it is bad for his or her emotional condition. In my country many politicians and some other people earn money in crimes. Even if they are able to buy expensive cars, yachts and houses, their consciences are affected.

In my opinion, it is better to have some money to buy things, which I need to live comfortable and to make the life of my family happier. I would prefer to buy a small lovely house and a cheap car, and have enough spare time, health and good friends. Of course I have to study a lot and to work, but it is not a goal of my life.

In conclusion, there are two different points of view on whether it is good or not to be wealthy. Maybe it is a pleasure to have a lot of money, but I strongly believe that I personally do not need it.

Kitos, I have a question: "a person spends less time with theIR family" - is it correct? I think it should have been "with his or hers family", but it is too complicated setence..
