Integrated essay: In altruism behavior animal is responsible to stand against... #1 (permalink) Fri Jun 18, 2010 20:38 pm   Integrated essay: In altruism behavior animal is responsible to stand against...

The reading passage says that in altruism behavior animal is responsible to stand against predator to protect other members of the group while the lecture completely contradicts this idea that according to the research animals behave opposite to altruism.

First, the reading says that altruism behavior is limited in humans and other mammals. like a human may donate blood or body organ do not get reward from the society. As a result the behavior is bound in humans. On the other hand the lecture believes that if a person donate kidney he/she will get the reward from society or the stranger to whom he/she donates the organ.

Second, the reading passage says that altruism behavior is different in some animals for example Meerkats stand against predators when the other group of the same animal is engage in eating when the stand guards see the predator is coming they use to make alarm cry which is more dangerous to them. They flee alone while the animals in the group are in protection not only this but even stand guards return home without food.
However, the lecture asserts that the behavior of meerkats doesn’t show the altruism. for example, the meerkat guards stand near the burrow with full stomach if the they see the predator is coming they make alarm cry and easily flee and hide so that group animals are in greater danger because they are scattered and harder to reach their burrow. Alarming cry cause group member to gather so they easily hunt by predators.

In sum, the reading passage says that Meerkat show altruism by standing against group and making alarming cry. Countering that, lecture says that it is different than altruism behavior.

The reading passage says that in altruism behavior animal is responsible to stand against predator to protect other members of the group while the lecture completely contradicts this idea that according to the research animals behave opposite to altruism.

First, the reading says that altruism ALTRUISTIC behavior is limited in humans and other mammals. like A human may WHO donateS blood or A body organ do MAY not get reward ANY from the society.
As a result the behavior is bound in humans.
On the other hand the lecture believes that if a person donateS A kidney he/she will get the reward from society or FROM the stranger to whom he/she donates the organ.

Second, the reading passage says that altruisTIC behavior is different in some animals(.) For example(,) Meerkats stand against predators when the other group of the same animal is engageD in eating when theY stand guard TO see IF the predator is coming(.) They useD to make AN alarm cry which is more dangerous to them. They flee alone while the animals in the group are in protection not only this but even stand guards return home without food.

However, the lecture asserts that the behavior of meerkats does NOT show the altruism. For example, the meerkat guards stand near the burrow with full stomachS(.) If the they see the predator is coming they make alarm cry and easily flee and hide so that group animals are in greater danger because they are scattered and FIND IT harder to reach their burrow. Alarming cry cause group member to gather so they easily hunt by predators.

In sumMING UP, the reading passage says that Meerkat show altruism by standing against OTHER groupS and making alarming cry. Countering that, lecture says that it is different than altruism behavior.

A very poor effort Aameera. It was almost impossible to understand what you were writing.
