157. In the future, students may have the choice of studying at home by using technology such as computers or television or of studying at traditional schools. Which would you prefer? Use reasons and specific details to explain your choice.

Well of knowledge is unlimited. But understanding and grasping the knowledge and applying it in practical life require a technique and an environment. I would personally prefer traditional schools over choice of studying at home by using technology.

There is no doubt that technology has made studying any where easier but a traditional school provides an environment in which a student character grooms. Traditional School helps a student to gain confidence by interacting with teachers and other fellow students. It makes him/her feel being a part of a team and belonging to somewhere special like a second home. He begins to represent his school by his acts and knowledge. Student can hang out with people who share his or her interest and make few good friends. Teachers are like parents and a student attending a traditional school is constantly under focus and is undoubtedly guided and encouraged by his/her mentors. Also academic tests help him to learn better.

Traditional schools not only focus on education but also provide a broad spectrum of activities to pursue and be part of. This in return enriches a student’s mind and helps him/her to experience new things in life. For example a student studying at a traditional school can look forward to joining a drama club, a football team, scholastic society, readers club, scouts, debate competitions, chess club, sport competitions, cheerleading and so on and so forth.

Technology such as computers or televisions can cause distraction and makes a person wander off from work. With multimedia technology students instead of focusing on studies might find chatting, watching a movie, downloading songs more entertaining than education.

Lastly since I have experienced both ways of learning, I personally prefer studying at a traditional school, because I missed my school terribly and sitting in front of a machine were dull days of my student hood.

A very good essay Katty, but again we have the last sentence producing simple errors.
