Good afternoon, mr. Kitos. What about this one?
Many people have learned a foreign language in their own country; others have learned a foreign language in the country in which it is spoken. Which is better? Give the advantages of each and support your viewpoint.
Learning a foreign language is an interesting, but a very difficult process. Some people can speak two or more languages perfectly because they have lived in the countries where these languages are official; however, many people learn a foreign language successfully without leaving their own country. I have not tried to live abroad for several years, but I think that it is better to study a language in the country, in which I could hear this language everywhere. First of all, I want to review some advantages of both these options.
On the one hand, when a person learns a foreign language in their own country, it is more convenient because he or she should not change the place of living and habits. He or she just has to include some language hours in their schedule without leaving their family, job and friends for several months or years. I personally have studied Spanish and English in this way and I find it quite comfortable to spend some hours a day reading books, listening radio podcasts or speaking with other people in English using the Internet at home.
On the other hand, although I have not such an experience, I think that studying English in the United Kingdom, USA or Australia would be more efficient, because there I could have a great opportunity to use the language everywhere. Even if I were tired and wanted to relax, I would hear the same language in restaurants, museums and other places. Furthermore, in this case I practically had not a chance to speak my native language unless my friend from Russia lived there with me. Finally, it is interesting to learn not only the language, but also a culture and people of a foreign country. Such studies make a person begin not only speak as a native speaker, being familiar with chunks of language and specific terms, but also think as the member of this country.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that it is more comfortable to learn any language in the home country, but it is more interesting and much more efficient to live in a foreign country during studies. I was wondering if I could have such an experience.

You worked hard and you "crossed over" successfully. Congratulations.

I do not joke Arseni. There are millions of English people who could not write such a good essay ... in fact, they couldn't even write the first paragraph. If you can speak as well as you can write then I know you will be welcome in any British university. Have you made any voice recordings yet? _________________ Keep it simple ...
