Topic: Some people like to be the leader of a group. Other people like to be a member of a group in which another person is the leader. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to explain why?

Essay:
In the modern life, people often work in the groups. Each group often has a leader to make decision and organize the team, so the leader always has an important position in a team. In my opinion, I prefer to be the leader of a group than become a member, because this position brings me a chance to improve my skill, helps me gain respect, and I can receive more salary from company.

First of all, to be the leader is a way to improve skill and knowledge because the leader have to know deeply about the field of group that they are working and has a lot of skill to organize members in group in order to achieve specific destination. So, the leader must learn and works more than the members in the group in order to prove to his employees that he deserves with his position. In this way, people who are the leaders or want to be the leaders can improve their skill and knowledge.

Secondly, one aspect of leader makes people want to be the leader is that they have higher salary than other member in the group. The leader always work under pressure because he has to have responsible to all issue of group, it makes them spend more their time to think and work than other positions. Obviously, the company has to pay for them higher salary than other members because of what they contribute to it.

Finally, Becoming a good leader helps me can expand my relationships and get respect and admiration from other people in society. The leader often goes to meet their partners to discuss about the new project or new contract, thus, they will built a lot relationship in this way. In addition, when the group achieves success, the leader will be remembered firstly because of his talent and his contributions for this success, so people will admire them more than other members in the group.

In brief, for all of the reasons I mention above, becoming a leader is my dream because it gives me a lot of advantage such as respect, admiration, high salary and a chance to improve myself.
