The global warming growing could cause drastic changes in our planet. For example: It could increase flooding, causing extreme weather changes, animal extinction and losses of agricultural.
The speaker mentions that the North East of United States is already suffering of the consequences of the global warming growing.
The past winter season, with the global warming, the snow fall are becoming shorter ,the traditional snow stormy is becoming rare, even in rural areas the landscape is becoming less colorful and consequently less attractive for tourist. As the economy at that specific region rely on tourism, changes in the weather pattern, the sky tourism in that region is decreasing which is affecting the local economy.

I found it in Barron's Writing for the TOEFL ibt 3rd edition. As I've noticed that you are in USA, I am pretty sure that you will able to borrow this book easily from any library near by where you are :D
