The high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and the real needs of the society in which they are sold.
In the present age, the advertisement plays a very important role in our daily lives. At the same time, more and more people criticize the advertisement FOR raising the price of consumer goods and exaggerating the practicability of products. As for me, I am totally IN /favor/AGREEMENT WITH// this opinion.
We can find plenty of evidence to support the view that the advertising IS usually not real. As we know, advertisers spread numerous fake /instructions/CLAIMS/ of products in order to pursue high profit. It is not AN uncommon phenomenon that thousands of people complain ABOUT the poor quality of products advertised. Moreover, the price of goods appears TO HAVE AN increasingly upward tendency due to the advertising effects, which leads to citizens havING to bear the heavy financial burden. IN contrast, those cheaper goods are not efficiently popularized because OF THEIR MANUFACTURERS failing to afford THE considerably high feeS of advertising, so seldom DO people receive their product information. For instance, some international companies spend a great amount of money advertising their products, which leads to individuals only payING attention to these companies' goods, but IN THEIR neglectING other relativeLY cheaper and ADEQUATE domestic products.
On the other hand, the advertisement also has some benefits for us. Obviously, some good and indeed needful products are slowly accepted by more and more people. Even so, I still suppose that the advertisement brings more disadvantages than advantages. It is clear that MANY COMPANIES spend money IN advertising THE more popular products THAT are advertised, regardless of the good or bad quality.
Overall, I concede that the advertisement has certain benefits, but its negative influence is more obvious. If the advertisement is used at the aspect of public and non-profit activities, I AM convinceD that it is substantially beneficial for our society and even the whole world. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Good morning Sean. This was an acceptable essay. Maybe a little research would have helped you to produce a more forceful opinion.
