Topic: do you agree or disagree with this statement? Employers should be required to provide smoking areas for their employees who smoke cigarettes. Essay: Smoking is the bad habit of a lot of people in the world. It is very EASY to beCOME addicted TO SMOKING cigarettes, but to STOP SMOKING cigarettes is very difficult. To day, most people know that smoking not only damages smoker’s health, but also PRODUCES A bad effect ON the people who live around them. In my opinion, employers should not provide smoking areas for their employees(,) AND THEY SHOULD ban smokING in the company, FOR THE GOOD ON THEIR employee’s health and TO SAVE money for THE company. First of all, the ban ON smoking in the company helps employees who smoke cigarettes TO protect their health. The working time in the company averageS eight hourS per day, so if the smoker does not have smoking areas, they cannot smoke, thus, this policy reduces THE quantity of cigarettes which they use per day. That is obviously to see that their health will be better when they smoke fewer cigarettes than normal. Secondly, the employees who smoke cigarettes will take more breaks than their fellows if they have smoking areas. So, it can reduce THE productivity of THE company. CigaretteS ARE a type of drug, so the employees who use them can need them any time, thereforE, they can break THEIR working time to go to smoking areas in order to smoke cigarettes. To break working time not only reduces productivity, but also makes the work of A manager to be more difficult because he has to control employees who smoke cigarettes. Finally, if the employers do not provide smoking areas for their employees, they will save a lot of money. Instead of providing smoking areas, the employers can use their money to build more canteens or expand THE car park. It is fairer for all employees in the company than only focusING on THE demandS of a group who smoke cigarettes. In brief, providing an area for employees who smoke cigarettes is not necessary, because this area will damage their health, gives A bad effect to reduce productivity, and consumes THE company’s fundS. ThereforE, I strongly support the opinion that the employer should not provide smoking areas for their employees. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: This is an excellent essay Tung Lam. Congratulations.
