Good morning all. I just want to say that I tire of reading essays where the topic title is not even formed in a grammatically correct manner. If you can't get even the title correct, imagine what the essay is going to read like.

In future, I will IGNORE THOSE ESSAYS with incorrect topic titles.

For heavens sake ... WAKE UP! If you can't be bothered to do your best, then please, don't even bother.

I, more than most people, appreciate just how difficult it is to write in a foreign language, and I sympathise with your problems, and admire your efforts in doing your very best. However, there are others who are more than capable of writing VERY GOOD essays, who instead, just churn out any old thing simply to get it finished.

I promised a fortnight ago to tighten things up, and then I relented somewhat ... well, things have changed again, and GOOD writers work will be looked at with an even more critical eye, and their scores will reflect on their back-tracking!

Kitos.

You should make this anoucement always appear on the first page as a rule of posting essays so that everyone can notice it.
You are moderator, so you can label it "sticky" or "announcement".
I bet it will make everything better.

Thanks Alive. I thought about doing so, but I do not wish to appear bombastic. I really hope that all students read all messages as a matter of course. If they read only their own work they will neglect a great source of learning.

Thanks.

Hello Kitos,
It is a step forward towards making this site even more like a proper online english language teaching resource.
For me, the first thing to do, is to manage everything in its proper place. I feel like I cannot even read or write a single word until all my desk is tidy. For some people, it may sound like I am bragging, but for me it is sometimes, or may be most of the time, miserable thing. I spend a longer time in arranging things. If something is lost, like a pencil or a book, or anything, which I really don't even need at the moment, I cannot start working until I find it back. This is no joke Kitos, this is my problem :)
I try to overcome it, but often I spend more of my time in arranging, instead of studying.
Anyway, students should try to give a meaningful, proper subject to their essays, that will help themselves in future.

Bye
