According to the author, TV has been blamed for childrenS poor performanceS at school. (Spoon - plurality)There are some studies that relate, lower grades and time spending SPENT watching TV. Children who spend more time watching TV, have lower grades than children who spend less time watching TV. Although some researchers believe that TV is an educational tool(,) However, there are few TV programs that actually teach academic skills. Most of the TV programs for children are cartoons, which have poor educational valuable content. Children who spend more time watching TV, spend less time doing their homework or interacting with other children. In addition, they will become more passive rather than an active children. On the other hand, the speaker has another point of view by giving Japanese children performance at school as an example. Although, Japanese spend more time watching TV, they have higher score performance at school than their USA counter parts. The USA test score hasn’t improved even though they have spent less time watching TV. Researchers believe that TV programs are able to give new ideas and information to children. On the other hand, researches also show that children who spend more than 3 hours watching TV have /poor/LOWER/ score performanceS in math and reading. Therefore, they believe that parents should limiting their children to spendING no more than 2 hours watching TV and by selecting the programs that they are watching. Moreover, they should encourage their children to do more reading, playing in outside and visiting museumS. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Good morning Spoon. This is really good work. You continue to improve and you should be justly proud of your improvement.
