Is it true that John Milton wrote Paradise Lost when he was married and Paradise Regained when his wife died? I read it somewhere.

Don't know, but John Milton is my favourite English poet and his Paradise Lost is second to none. I only know he dictated P.L. when he was completely blind, ill, poor and was paid 7 pounds by the publisher.
