Your government is considering a new law that would limit the size of each class #1 (permalink) Wed Jul 07, 2010 21:08 pm   Your government is considering a new law that would limit the size of each class

Please check my essay. I'm sure that it is full of mistakes :( Actually, I will be very thankful for a fast feedback. Thank you so much!!

"Your government is considering a new law that would limit the size of each class to 20 students. Supporters say this would allow teachers to offer more attention to each student and reduce the stress and alienation many students feel in bigger classes. Opponents suggest that smaller classes would be more expensive in the long run and lead to a reduction of resources for students. Which position would you support? Provide reasons and examples in your response.

Would you prefer your own child waste his time looking out the window, while his teacher is trying pay attention on the rest of the class? Yes, your child can do this. While the class amount about 30 students, yes it is possible to slip between the raindrops and to do everything but not educating. In my opinion, limiting the size of each class, will lead to well educated students, a whole new communicative and innovative generation.

Obviously, in smaller class teachers can work with each student individually. Teachers would be able to check mistakes and give an advice when student have a problem with some lessons. Students should be motivated to learn more and to prove their skills. Working with each student teacher could stimulate a new idea and congratulate every achievement.

Moreover, working in a small group would allow more discussions. This would help students to learn how to impress themselves, how to defend their own thoughts or ideas, and how to convince the audience at something. Indeed, it is well-known that the best ideas comes from a good discussion.

Finally, being able to discuss and express their own thoughts, exchanging ideas with classmates, taking advices from teacher, students could pretend that are well educated after graduation.

Reducing class size is not only about making every child special. It is about paying attention at each detail of education and ensure to your own child the best quality of education. As a result, one day your well-educated child may found cancel treatment."

Good morning Avrora. Your weakness appears to be in sentence structure and a slight lack of flexibility in the use of your vocabulary. I'm sure that you will develop into a very good writer because you have an active mind. Keep writing.
