It is better to be a member of a group than to be the leader of a group?

Recently, lots of people suggested that we should provide the training for being a good leader. They talked about numerous advantages, like to gain the better career or to successful lead the team. But in my opinion, people should try to be a proper member of a group.
The good leaders should contain several characters. For one thing, they should carefully listen to others’ talks. No matter the status of the speaker, each piece of information is really useful. For instance, the president always heard the opinions from experts or residents. Even if the idea could not be used, leadership could really understand what people care about. For second thing, they should always encourage their employees. According to the research, the efficiency of working would increase when people receive the support of praise. Therefore, the leadership should always care about the company’s situation and employees’ emotion.
But some people just underestimate the difficulty of being the leader. When they had to govern the team, they always faced the member with bad emotion or harshly tone. Furthermore, they did not care others’ mind. Although the goal is important, the member’s minds are also critical. After all, without the high quality of members, the company would soon collapse.
Hence we should try to be the suitable member at first. By learning to cooperate with others or following the leader’s bits, we would realize the elements of good leadership. Besides, it is useful to realize with the opinion of the member. Once we had the chances to become a president, we would know how to govern the group.
In conclusion, it is really helpful to be the member in the group first. After the processes, we would understand how to assume the great president.
