Thank you, Remula.
"go to school" = "enter school"
I go to school from Monday through Friday. = I enter school from Monday through Friday.

Tofu, when I said possible I didn't mean go and enter are completely similar. They are similar in the cases when smb is admitted to school and starts his education, but not for everyday situations. For example, in my country children are allowed to start their education at the age of 6. So, my son will go = enter (be admitted, start education after some procedure) school at the age of 6. But when we talk about daily activities enter can't replace go, because enter has a meaning go in, come in house, room, office etc.
Sorry, if I confused you :( I hope I could explain. |

Thank you, B.
"I went to school when I was six." Does this imply "I didn't go to school when I was seven, eight, nine..."? |

No. It means you were first accepted into a school when you were six. From that point on, unless told differently, you were in school until now (if you are still at school) or at least the minimum leaving age. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

"I entered school when I was six." This, too, means that you were first accepted into a school when you were six, doesn't it? |
