Yes. Indonesia is a country with thousands of islands.
Have you ever gone to Bali Island? It's a wonderful island. Kuta Beach, Nusa Dua Beach, etc. are beautiful.

Hello and welcome, Pink Angel.

Like you, I'm in the latest batch of newcomers to this site. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Could you tell us something about your country that we can't find in books or on the net, like what you personally think about life there, people, customs, food, etc.? Thank you.

I think the people are quite nice, especially for Balinese. But, not all. Our special food are Gado-gado, Ketropak, etc.
We also have traditional dance, example Kecak, Piring, Jaipong, etc. In fact, Indonesian music are so various. But, it isn't quite develop.
That is(WHICH ONE THE TRUE: THAT IS OR THOSE ARE?) about my country.

Hi, Conchiata, are you going to visit Indonesia? Smile

Hi, Pink Angel, I think you should say "That is something about my country".

PinkAngel you wrote "That is(WHICH ONE THE TRUE: THAT IS OR THOSE ARE?) about my country."

I think the correct version of this sentence should be: "That is ( WHICH ONE IS CORRECT: THAT IS OR THOSE ARE?) about my country."

As for your question, I think tortoise offers a good version. Other options could be: "That is what I wanted to say about my country" or "That is all about my country"

Hi, Ahmadov

Thank you for approving of my version. About your version "That is all about my country". I also thought about this version, but, as you see, Pink Angel just said something about her country, and that is not all Smile. I think so, and I didn't offer her this version.

Just some thoughts.

Regards

Hi, Pink Angel, Ahmadov, Tortoise,

There is little I can add now. Still, you could also say:
Those are a few facts/thoughts about my country, or
That's what I wanted to tell you about my country, or
That's all for the time being Smile .
among several other possibilities.

Anyway, thanks for your comments. I'd love to go there some day, of course. The furthest I've been in that direction so far is Lebanon and Syria, but who knows what the future holds in store for me?

Have a nice day!
