I've been so long without you
That I've 'bout forgot your name.
Now I never think about you
And I guess you feel the same.
For the years dull all our senses
Shove memories to the past,
Yet it seems like only yesterday
We were certain it would last.
Yes time is like an healer
It's true what people say.
That time erases everything
That we forget each day.
Forget the good times that we had
When we were young and free.
The nights I only dreamed of you
And you dreamt just of me.
There could never be another
At least that's what we thought
But fate stepped in and proved us wrong
Now see what it has brought.
Emptiness and loneliness,
Endless sleepless nights,
Waiting for the daybreak
Just aching for the light.
Another chance to find love
This time with someone new.
But in my heart I really know
I wish it would be you.
For you are irreplaceable
Why do I try to hide?
The desperate burning need for you
I always feel inside.
Someday, somewhere, we'll meet again
In another place sublime.
Where other people don't exist
Out there, ....somewhere in time.

Kitos.
