Hello,

Could you advise me on whether this sentence sounds natural?

You don't have the follow-through to finish up on whatever project you take up.

Thanks!

Too many 'ups' for it to flow for me, though I understand it.

Thanks for your help.
I agree it is clumsily worded in terms of too many "ups"
Maybe this version will make the grade for you?

You don't have the follow-through to bring whatever project you take up to completion.

Thanks!

It's better. It's okay. It's a bit 'wordy' for my liking. It's the sort of sentence you may have to read through several times before understanding the meaning.

You don't have the follow-through to complete any project you take up.

Hi OTS,

'Follow through' is a bit mechanical. How about 'perseverance'? Now, that's a good word.
