"Lot" is a word often used in auctions and sales. It simply means a group of items.

Hi Jackson,

'Lot' is principally used to describe an item in an auction where things are sold to the person who offers the highest price. The person organising the auction (the auctioneer) reads out from the list: Lot number ** and then describes the item(s) offered for sale..
