| It's fine. Here I would prefer "because" to "since." |

My preference is:
1. Because he is the owner of the store, he should take the responsibility of the management. [direct cause] 2. Because I want to make a contact with him, I would like to know his name. [direct cause] 3. Is he the owner of the store? I would like to know his name. [confirmation + purpose]
4. If "I want to know the name of the store owner", then, "Since he is the owner of the store, I would like to know his name." However, in this case, the part following "if" alone would be sufficient. |
