In this context only nothing else makes sense because this means that's all we need to buy, there isn't anything we need in addition. Please also note that the correct word order of your question would be Why is excluded incorrect? and Why is the answer else? Happy New Year! Torsten

Hi,
In this context What does " I said it would be quick.oh dear " mean ? Kindly clarify my doubt and please let me know in what type of situations i can use that sentence. |

Hello Saneta and Gundela,
The entire section cannot be taken out of context and maintain a meaning.
Within the test:
I said it would be quick = I said our trip to the shop would be quick.
Oh dear! - this expression of surprise and dismay relates to the next question. The shopper has spotted the long queues at the checkout and realised it won't be such a quick trip after all. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
