The expression “Never, never give up” means keep trying and never stop working for your goals. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I totally agree with this statement that means that we should never ever give up in any case. I try to follow this advice, and it has encouraged me a lot when I feel defeated in my life.

We all know that everything has two indivisible sides. If failure exists, then success also exists. Therefore, the more you get failure, the more you learn experience. There will be one day that you will succeed. Once I wanted to study physics. Unfortunately, I studied badly as I feel disappointed and my mind was full of dissatisfaction. I realized that I had no way to escape it and I must reach my goal so as I began to study hardly. Surprisingly, I passed on my final exam with a high score. You see, there is always an opportunity to achieve your goal if you have the courage to pursue them.

Each of us truly has dreams-even it is big or small-that requires us to persistently pursue our goal. Difficulties and failures are somewhat inevitable. However, if you think of something positive to put you in perspective, step by step you will accomplish your object. For example, I joined an English speaking club one year ago. During first two months, I couldn’t understand what other members talked, but with my enthusiasm, I have continued to visit this club and little by little my English speaking level has picked up. All efforts and attempts always are officially acknowledged.

Our life is a competition and only most persevering people could finish that competition with the good outcome. We should strive to attain progress, not perfection; we should recall what we have accomplished up to now, and keep a positive thinking, and when we look back without regretting, we certainly are not losers. And at the end of our journey we will become successful people.

I must tell you that I am extremely impressed with your command of English. I do believe that you have worked like a Trojan to reach this level. Well done Thucuyen.
