Use the correct form of the word in brackets to complete the paragraph

Our planet Earth is one of the nine planets revolving around the sun, a fairly small and ordinary star, which lies in the outer areas of the Milky Way Galaxy. There are about 256 billion stars in our galaxy and billions of galaxies in the universe. People have always wondered about the possibility of intelligent life forms on other planets. In recent years this has become serious scientific speculation. Some scientists believe that there must be large numbers off star and planets which could support living intelligent beings. Perhaps, we shall never know: the nearest star is 4.3 light years away. A light year is the distance covered by light (traveling at almost 300,000 km at second) in one year. It would take the fastest Earth spacecraft about 40,000 years to reach the nearest star.

It's a shame that the exercise forced you to use 'revolving' rather than the correct term 'orbiting' Also there is a typo here:
there must be large numbers off star and planets - it should be 'of stars and planets'.

However, within the limitations of the exercise your entire answer is correct.

Hey Bee!

That sounds a bit harsh to me. I don't see any problem with 'revolving' here. That's how it's normally used. Have a look at the link given below.

That means I'd better use 'orbiting' than 'revolving'. Right?

Not if 'revolving' was an option, but 'orbiting' wasn't WFG! Stick to the choices you had.
