Hi, a lot of German companies use the term 'production hall' as a direct translation of the German word 'Produktionshalle'. Here are some examples that show what German companies mean by 'production hall':

Hmm. I think I'd just call it a factory if it stands alone, and if it is part of a larger structure, I'd call it a production floor. I haven't been near one in a long time, though.
