Granted, economic development is the important part of our society. But if we take all aspects into consideration, the environmental problems is supposed to overrode all other things which our government should focus on.

For one thing, environment is essential for our social development. No one can deny the fact that environment affects every aspect in our social. If we can not deal with environment problems immediately and reasonably, they will cause a series of crisises. A classic example of this is the Gulf of Mexico. The leaking-oil contaminated the gulf seriously, which broke both ecology equilibrium and economic development. A large amount of fishes and birds died from oil pollution, and people no longer wanted to visit the Gulf of Mexico, which weakened the ocean fishery and tourism. Consequently, the increasing people had to lose their jobs. Obviously, the local, or even the national, economic system was impacted heavily. The BP and the government had spent billions on reducing the leak, not to mention repairing economic and ecological system. Thus the environmental problems are the most important things the government should focus on. Any government who only cares about economic development but do not put sufficient efforts on solving environmental problems may suffer uncountable loss.

For another thing, good environment will stimulate economic development. Nowadays, sustainable development is more concerned than ever before, which requires balance our economic development with environment. Many scientists and economists point out that we must protect our natural environment from polluting, if we want to economic development goes further and successfully. The good environment will benefit our health; therefore, we have more energy and enthusiasm to promote economic development. Indisputably, it will also reduce needless expenses which be spent on solving all sorts of environmental problems. There is no better way to develop economics than to protect nature environment firstly.

For those reasons, we can safely conclude that the government should pay more attention to environmental problems than to economic development. Superb environment can not only promote economic development but also improve quality of life.

Granted, economic development is the important part of our society(,) but if we take all aspects into consideration, the environmental problems is supposed to overrIde all other things which our government should BE focusING on.

For one thing, A STABLE environment is essential for our social development. No one can deny the fact that environment affects every aspect in our WORLD. If we can not deal with environmentAL problems immediately and reasonably, they will cause a series of crises. A classic example of this is the Gulf of Mexico. The leaking-oil SERIOUSLY contaminated the Gulf seriously, which DESTROYED both THE ecology equilibrium and economic development. A large amount of fish and birds died from oil pollution, and people no longer wanted to visit the Gulf of Mexico, which weakened BOTH the ocean fishery BUSINESS and tourism. Consequently, MANY people LOST their jobs. Obviously, the local, or even the national, economic system was impacted heavily. The BP and the government had spent billions on reducing the leak, not to mention repairing THE economic and ecological system. Thus the environmental problems are the most important things the government should focus on. Any government who only cares about economic development but do not put sufficient efforts INTO solving environmental problems may suffer uncountable lossES.

For another thing, A good environment will stimulate economic development. Nowadays, sustainable development is more OF A concern than ever before, which requires THAT WE balance our economic development with environmentAL DEVELOPMENT. Many scientists and economists point out that we must protect our natural environment from pollutiON if we want to economic development TO PROCEED further and successfully. The A good environment will benefit our health; therefore, we WILL have more energy and enthusiasm to promote economic development. Indisputably, it will also reduce needless expenses which NEEDS TO be spent on solving all sorts of environmental problems. There is no better way to develop economics than to protect THE naturAL environment firstly.

For those reasons, we can safely conclude that the government should pay more attention to environmental problems than to economic development. A superb environment (cannot) only promote economic development(,) but also improve OUR quality of life.
